This policy explains what Vantriq Labs collects when you use this website, why we collect it, and what choices you have. It applies to vantriqlabs.com and to orders placed through it.
Information we collect
- Information you give us. Name, email address, shipping and billing address, phone number where supplied, organisation name, and the contents of messages you send us.
- Order information. Products purchased, lot numbers shipped, order value, and shipping status.
- Payment information. Card details are entered directly with our payment processor and are not stored on our servers. We retain only the last four digits, the card brand and the authorisation result.
- Technical information. IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed and referring page, collected through cookies and server logs.
- Age and research-use confirmation. When you accept the site notice we record an anonymised session identifier and a timestamp, so we can evidence that the confirmation was given.
How we use it
To process and ship orders; to issue Certificates of Analysis and other documentation; to respond to enquiries; to detect and prevent fraud; to meet record-keeping obligations that apply to a chemical supplier; and to understand how the site is used so we can improve it.
We do not use advertising cookies and we do not sell personal information.

Who we share it with
Payment processors, shipping carriers, and the service providers who host this site and send our transactional email. Each is bound to use the information only to perform that service. We also disclose information where we are legally required to.
Retention
Order and documentation records are retained for seven years. Enquiry correspondence is retained for two years. Server logs are retained for 90 days. Age-confirmation records are retained for two years.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or obtain a copy of your personal information, and to opt out of its sale or sharing. Under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended, you may also opt out of cross-context behavioural advertising — we do not engage in it, and the control is available in the site notice regardless.
To exercise a right, email privacy@vantriqlabs.com. We verify requests against the order record before acting on them and respond within 45 days. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a right.
Security
The site is served over TLS. Access to order records is restricted to staff who need it. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
This site is intended for qualified researchers aged 21 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided information, email us and we will delete it.
Changes
If we make a material change we will update the date at the top of this page and, where the change affects how we use information you already gave us, notify you by email.
