Conformance target
We target Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. We assess the site against that standard when we make significant changes, and we correct issues we find.
What we have implemented
- Semantic headings, landmarks and lists throughout the catalog and product pages.
- A skip-to-content link as the first focusable element on every page.
- Text and interface colours checked for contrast against the background they sit on.
- Keyboard operation for the navigation, cart drawer, quality-assurance tabs and FAQ accordions, with visible focus.
- Alternative text on product images that names the compound rather than repeating the file name.
- Form labels bound to their inputs, and errors reported in text rather than by colour alone.
- Layout that reflows to a single column without horizontal scrolling down to 320 px.
Known limitations
- The chromatogram illustration on the homepage is decorative; the purity value it depicts is also published as text in the Certificate of Analysis panel on each product page.
- Certificates of Analysis supplied as PDF may not be fully tagged. We will provide the analytical values in an accessible format on request.
